Expansive voice work supports finding vocal flexibility through extension of your range, and expansion of the timbre and colors of your voice. This work draws on what is referred to as the human voice work in the lineage of Roy Hart and Alfred Wolfsohn (sometimes referred to as extended voice work or expansive voice work). It helps to discover the emotional truth in sounds you may not have previously imagined yourself capable of making. This type of work is beneficial for performers of all levels from singer/songwriters searching for a unique sound to actors and singers who want to develop a versatile instrument for performing (this includes those who dream of karaoke stardom too!)

Stress, emotions and trauma work can help you to explore how stress, emotions and trauma show up in your body and manifest in your voice. Through this type of work you can learn how to express emotions or parts of yourself that don’t otherwise get much airtime. This work draws upon my primary vocal lineage of Alfred Wolfson and Roy Hart and my work as a Somatic Experiencing® professional.
